EIF Scholarship Recipients
The mission of the Easter Island Foundation is to support Rapa Nui people in the preservation of their vibrant culture: past and future. The EIF focuses on education to to fulfill this mission.

Providing scholarships to students of Rapanui ancestry who wish to further their education is a mission objective of the Easter Island Foundation. With the help of our partners and donors, we were able to award the following scholarships in 2024:

We thank all our donors and partners who have contributed to our successful scholarship award program, with very special thanks to the Fraternal Order of Moai Foundation, whose focus is community service and charitable giving, and to the Wold Foundation, whose mission is to assist, encourage and promote charitable, scientific, literary and educational endeavors. Since our program began in 2002, EIF has awarded over 100 scholarships to qualified undergraduate students of Rapanui ancestry.
