"My life has been intrinsically linked to the sector that motivates me to apply today: tourism.  I had the privilege of being born and raised on Rapa Nui, immersed in a family environment that has dedicated its career and dedication to this field.  When I was a kid, I was able to appreciate all the effort my father put in as a guide to bring a smile to his tourists; this was an experience that ignited my vocation and led me to choose Hospitality and Gastronomy Management as my professional path.

My interest is not casual, but a direct response to the needs of my community.

What I am most passionate about in my field of study is the opportunity to execute management excellence and to provide customer service that reflects the rich culture and hospitality of Rapa Nui.

I firmly believe that quality service is the key to tourist sustainability to be remembered by the tourists who visit the island, and my educational goal is to master the tools to elevate this standard in Rapa Nui.

I plan to use this professional training to generate a tangible and positive impact on the island.  My specific goal is the design and construction of an accommodation with totally sustainable and ecological infrastructure.  This project will not only represent valuable innovation in the local hotel industry but will also be a source of qualified employment for the local population, in addition to promoting Rapa Nui as a genuinely ecological and responsible global destination.
