Law; Universidad Andrés Bello
“My name is Rangi Moana Rapu Morales. I am 20 years old and originally from Rapa Nui. I am currently pursuing a Law degree at Andrés Bello University, driven by a strong vocation for service and justice. From an early age, I have witnessed my parents’ constant effort to achieve their goals and, above all, their enduring commitment to supporting others whenever they were in need. These values, instilled within my family, have profoundly shaped my worldview and my personal and academic aspirations.
Inspired by these experiences, I chose to study Law with the purpose of contributing to society through the field that most motivates me: the defense of fundamental rights. I firmly believe that access to justice and legal knowledge is essential for building a more just, inclusive, and equitable society.
As a member of the Rapa Nui people, my greatest aspiration is to actively contribute to my community. I seek to do so by promoting civic education, providing free legal assistance, and, most importantly, defending the rights of the Rapa Nui people. Furthermore, I am motivated to encourage younger generations to pursue a career in Law by crating supportive spaces where they can received guidance, better understand the legal profession, and explore its diverse areas of practice, thereby fostering a strong sense of social and community responsibility.”
