"During the year 2025, I completed the courses Integrated Modeling and Research Methodology, both of which were highly significant to my academic development in architecture.

Integrated Modeling was particularly valuable as it enabled me to develop projects through three-dimensional models that integrate design, construction, and planning within a single framework. Through the use of modeling software, I learned to anticipate construction challenges and optimize resources from the early stages of a project. These competencies are especially relevant for Rapa Nui, where logistical constraints and the high cost of materials demand careful planning of housing and infrastructure in order to minimize errors, costs, and material waste.

Research Methodology, in turn, was essential in strengthening my understanding of architecture in relation to territory and culture. In this course, I conducted research on the coastline and small coves, analyzing how their morphological conditions influence ways of inhabiting and building. This perspective fosters project development that respects history, landscape, and local practices. In Rapa Nui, where the coastline holds a fundamental social and cultural role, this approach supports more conscious and sustainable architectural interventions.

Together, these courses provided me with complementary technical and critical tools. They have enabled me to approach architecture in a more responsible and context-sensitive manner, allowing me to conceive projects that contribute in a concrete and respectful way to the development of Rapa Nui."
