The courses I took in 2024 were fundamental to my personal and professional development, providing key knowledge and skills that will not only strengthen my career, but will also significantly benefit the people of Rapa Nui.
In Innovation Management, I acquired the ability to generate and lead creative projects focused on solving specific problems in our community. An example of this would be the implementation of a sustainable solid waste management system that respects the natural and cultural environment of Rapa Nui. This project could encourage recycling, waste reduction, and composting, thus improving the quality of life of the community and protecting the island ecosystem.
In Legal Framework, I delved into laws and regulations essential to the operation of organizations. This knowledge is crucial to ensure that projects and businesses in Rapa Nui comply with national and international regulations, respecting the rights of the people. For example, ventures linked to cultural tourism can be integrated with the conservation of natural resources and the protection of intellectual property.
Finally, in Industrial Processes, I acquired tools to optimize local production, applicable to the development of sustainable micro-industries. A relevant case would be the implementation of water desalination processes, which would significantly contribute to the improvement of agricultural processes and purification, generating a positive impact on the community.
These subjects not only prepared me to face professional challenges, but also provided me with practical tools to promote the sustainable and respectful development of Rapa Nui, preserving its environment and strengthening its cultural identity.
