"The courses I took during 2025 were fundamental in understanding the actual functioning of organizations and territories, allowing me to develop a comprehensive vision of management, decision-making, and strategic analysis in complex contexts. Throughout this training process, I acquired analytical, technical, and methodological tools that facilitate the understanding of how production, financial, and human systems interact, especially in environments with limited resources and high territorial sensitivity, as is the case of Rapa Nui.

Currently, I am directly applying many of these skills in my professional practice at SASIPA, the island's multi-sector public company responsible for electricity generation and distribution, drinking water extraction and distribution, and maritime loading and unloading operations. The knowledge I have gained has allowed me to support the analysis and improvement of operational workflows, as well as the organization, analysis, and statistical interpretation of data relevant to internal management, which directly influences the use and management of the island's resources.

During this experience, I have observed that the work I have done has a direct impact on the management of Rapa Nui's resources, particularly regarding population growth, increased tourism, and the growing demand for basic services. The training I received was essential for understanding and applying the special regulatory framework governing the territory, such as Laws 16.441, 19.253, and, 21.070 and understanding how these regulations are directly linked to land-use planning, natural resource consumption, and the protection of the island's social and environmental balance. This experience has confirmed that the skills I developed during my academic training directly benefit the people of Rapa Nui, strengthening the management of local public enterprises and promoting more efficient, sustainable, and culturally relevant development."
